Hans Mol

Hans Mol has worked as an EFL teacher, teacher trainer, director of studies, producer and author in and for countries such as Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Indonesia and Australia. He has written many course books series and resources for young learners, teens, young adults and adults published globally and regionally (see www.connexxions.com.au). He is joint coordinator of the Young Learners and Teenagers Special Interest Group for IATEFL (The International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language).

For Macmillan he has contributed to Next Stop, Mega, Creative English, Megatrends, Style Update, Attitude, Macmillan English Campus and Onestopenglish. Most recently, he has co-authored Take Shape and is currently working on online materials for Inspiration.

For other publishers he is the author of two primary course book series, Real English (now 27 years young, in its third edition and recently extended with new levels and IWB components, for 8-12 year-olds in the Netherlands) and Magic Adventure, for 6-8 year-olds in Eastern Europe. He is also contributing to a teen course, Realtime. Among his other publications are a tertiary course for Tourism and Hospitality English (winner of the 2009 Duke of Edinburgh Award); a bilingual illustrated dictionary for young learners 8 and over; a teacher's resource book on Grammar for Young Learners and the upcoming 3-level grammar course English Grammar for Teens, for China. A new global business course, Business Update, will be published early 2012.

Hans divides his time between Australia and Portugal. He also writes, sings and produces songs for English language learning (www.supasongs.com). When he´s not working, he spends time with his daughters and family, and tries to ride his horse or paint.
