Joanna Pascoe began working in ELT in 1995. She has worked as a teacher and course coordinator in New Zealand, Thailand, Turkey, Hong Kong and most recently Bahrain. She enjoys writing teaching materials, and creating interactive and meaningful lessons that are designed to motivate learners. Joanna is very interested in what makes a successful learner and takes a holistic approach to teaching. In 2007, she received a Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL) from Macquarie University. In 2012 she completed a Master of Creative Writing, Scriptwriting at the International Institute of Modern Letters, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She started working for Macmillan in 2012 and loved writing a graded reader with supplementary materials for young learners.
