Like many ELT professionals I know, I stumbled into English language teaching having studied something completely unrelated at university - in my case science. I started teaching in 1993 and have been fortunate enough to have worked in Greece, the UK and Australia. Since 2003, I've been a freelance teacher trainer and have met and trained many teachers in Greece and Cyprus both for Macmillan and on CELTA courses as a CELTA trainer.
Having spent many years living and working in a very exam-oriented culture (Greece), I've also worked extensively in language testing as an Examiner (Cambridge ESOL and IELTS), Team Leader (Cambridge ESOL) and Examiner Trainer (IELTS).
As a Macmillan author, I've been involved in a number of exams projects, most recently Code, and have also written many components for other writers' course books.
