Founded in 1984, the Northern Association of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (NATESOL) has been serving the development and support needs of language teachers in the North-West of England for nearly thirty years.

This year's topic at the conference will be ''Sounds interesting - innovative approaches to the teaching of spoken  language in second language learning'.

Plenary Speaker

Peter Watkins is Principal Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Portsmouth, and author of Cambridge English Teacher: Vocabulary and Pronunciation, and The CELTA Course Trainee Book and Trainer’s Manual (both co-authored with Scott Thornbury).
