Components
New American Inside Out is a six-level course for adults and young adults. From Beginner to Advanced, the following components are available for each level of the course:
Student's Book and CD-ROM
CD-ROM included with every Student's Book.
CD-ROM
The CD-ROM provides a wealth of additional material. It includes interactive practice activities, and material to practice listening and pronunciation.
It is suitable for use as a self-study tool at home or in the classroom. The CD-ROM enables students to review and consolidate key language from their lessons in their own time and at their own speed.
Teacher's Book and Test CD
The Teacher's Book contains step-by-step teacher's notes, a wide range of practical teaching tips, Common European Framework (CEF) checklists, and a bank of extra photocopiable grammar, vocabulary, and communicative activities. The Test CD contains editable tests, the recordings of the listening test activities, suggested targets for the Common European Framework (CEF), and the Workbook Answer Key.
Workbook and Audio CD
The Workbook provides a review and further practice of all the main points in the Student's Book, a comprehensive writing course, and a simplified short story. The Audio CD has extra listening practice and pronunciation work.
Class Audio CDs
The class Audio CD set contains all the listening material for the Student's Book.
DVD and online worksheets
Viewpoints is a free-standing DVD which can be used alongside New American Inside Out. It contains dialogues, interviews, profiles, documentaries and video diaries to practice and extend the topics in the Student's Book. Each video segment is accompanied with downloadable worksheets, extensive teacher's notes, and the video script.
