How can I find out more about Macmillan's ELT books?

Contact our office and we will be happy to send you our latest catalogues, advise you on which books will best meet your needs, or arrange to come to visit you at your institution.

Which book is best for my students?

Both our print catalogue and online catalogues organize books in terms of the age group they are designed for: young children (for pre-school and kindergarten), children (for primary school students), teenage  (for secondary school students), and adult / young adult (for university students and adult learners). There are also books focusing on particular skills such as reading or writing and books aimed at people who need to learn English for the workplace, (business English). The courses are also organized in terms of level, either by number or stating the language proficiency level e.g. elementary or intermediate. Finally, the books are classified in terms of whether they are British English or American English. The quick reference chart at the front of the catalogue will help you find the books that will best meet your needs. Our staff are also knowledgeable about the different books available  and will be more than happy to advise you.

What support do we give teachers who use  Macmillan books?

When schools or universities select a Macmillan title we are happy to provide support to the teachers. When choosing a Macmillan book  ask about the possibility of arranging a workshop for the teachers in your  institution. Our locally based consultant Gilly Dempster specializes in giving workshops to teachers of young learners and we have other locally and regionally based trainers who can provide training for other groups of teachers. We also offer online support for our key courses within this website and host a free teacher resource site:

How long does it take to get the books once I order them?

For most of our major series our distributor holds stocks of the books in Korea so delivery should not take more than a few days, depending on where you live. For books that we do not stock in Korea or for very large orders then we need time to import the books which can take 6-10 weeks.

How much are the books?

For the price of particular titles please contact your bookseller or the Macmillan office. For information about discounts on bulk orders please contact your bookseller.
