At Macmillan Education, we publish a range of courses and resources that are perfect for teaching students in a bilingual environment, including a variety of CLIL materials and courses that focus on building students' key competencies and transferable skills.

A lively, vibrant 6-level course for teenagers, Beyond is perfect for teenage students in bilingual schools, and is is based around engaging topics that are relevant to teenagers' lives. The course is supported by a full range of digital materials and focuses on developing students' language skills as well as the key competencies they need to succeed at school and beyond.

Open Mind

Perfect for students at bilingual schools preparing for life beyond the classroom at university or in the workplace, Open Mind is a brand new general English course for young adults that focuses on building students' soft skills as well as their language skills.

New Inspiration

New Inspiration is a four-level course for teenagers from beginner to intermediate, with a task-based approach and differentiation for mixed-ability classes, including extension activities, vocabulary building and a greater emphasis on learner independence and self assessment. Additional resources are available on the New Inspiration website, including CLIL worksheets, culture lessons and bilingual wordlists.

In addition, extended reading texts and multilingual worksheets are available for download, to support further differentiation and students learning in a bilingual environment.
