Top Deck

This two-level course aims to bridge the gap between primary and secondary language learning. In some Swiss cantons this means bridging between Here Comes Super Bus and New Inspiration. The course takes the highly successful story-based approach of primary courses, such as Here Comes Super Bus as a basis and introduces the common faetures of secondary courses, such as New Inspiration so pupils are best prepared for secondary school learning. Students develop language skills as well as learner confidence and independence.

  • 'Language Stop' section actively encourages pupils to discover language and work out rules
  • Task-based activities written in-line with the CEF, practising and developing the four skills. Each unit finishes with the 'Skills Ticket', designed specifically to focus on skills training
