Macmillan Books for Teachers

The latest news from MBT is the publication of Uncovering CLIL, the most recent book in our seriesand one of the" hot books" at the IATEFL Conference in Exeter in April 2008.

There is much overlap between learning language and learning content, and a number of methodologies exist for using a second language as the medium for learning other subjects.

CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) is a synthesis and development of these approaches, providing a flexible way of applying them in many classroom situations.

This book has been written for language AND content teachers in search of new ideas for getting started in CLIL. It presents the essentials for both primary and secondary levels. It is packed with practical thinking AND it is written by three of the best-known movers in the development of CLIL in recent years.

Uncovering CLIL joins the twelve other titles in this series to offer a new generation of books for teachers - books designed to delight the reader with inspiring style, intelligent and lively tone, and practical ideas for immediate classroom use. Now please click on any of these titles to explore them in more detail.

Have fun,
Adrian Underhill, MBT Series Editor
