Macmillan Books for Teachers

The series was created to provide teachers' books that offered vital teaching theory in practical form, that liberated teachers to create any number of new lessons and techniques to suit their style and their class. The first books were published in 1994, and since then titles have been constantly added, updated and replaced in response to the changing needs of learners and teachers. Some of the great classics from the early years of the series have included Inside Teaching; Readings in Teacher Development; and The Teachers Voice.

Our intention was to produce a new generation of books for teachers - a series which sparkles and delights the reader with its inspiring style, intelligent and lively tone, and practical ideas for immediate classroom use. Amongst the current titles in the series you will find established classics like Learning Teaching and Sound Foundations, as well as innovative books such as Blended Learning and An A-Z of ELT.

Now please click on any of these titles to explore them in more detail.

Have fun,
Adrian Underhill, MBT Series Editor
