The Casino Royale Competition has closed. The winning entry has now been chosen so read on to find out who won!
To celebrate the release of the first Pre-intermediate Reader, Casino Royale, we announced a brand new James Bond competition.
In true 007 style, the first prize was the ultimate gadget: a limited edition 4GB iPod Nano (PRODUCT) RED.
The winning entry was a great story by Aleksander Savic from the Republic of Serbia. Well done!
In order to enter, students had to complete the exercises in the project worksheet below which will lead them to write their very own scene for a James Bond story. They could present the scene in any way they like - as a chapter in a book, a cartoon, a play or even an audio story or video. The most important thing was that their English is accurate and that the scene they chose was exciting and full of action.
Although the competition closed on December 31st, you can still download the project below to use in class.
An important note: you will need Adobe Acrobat to download this project. Click here to install this free of charge from Adobe's website.
