About the Speakers

Karolina Kotorowicz-Jasińska is an assistant professor at an English Department at Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland, and holds a PhD degree in applied linguistics. For many years now, Karolina has been professionally involved in ELT in a variety of ways – as a teacher of English at various levels of proficiency, a teacher trainer and a DOS, maximizing the potential of both teachers-to-be as well as experienced educators, and an author of coursebooks and supplementary materials.

In her private life, Karolina is a health-oriented sports amateur, investing a lot energy into what she loves the most - family, wellness and good food.

A psychotherapist, psychologist, linguist, a licenced coach and international master trainer. A President of ICI ( International Coaching Institute ) in Poland . An academic teacher, researcher, works at the University of Silesia in Poland and is a head of the Language Centre FUTURE in Poland. She is an author of over 300 articles published in Polish and English and an author of own method of teaching languages through drama Future Learning System based on cognitive and positive psychology and process drama. An author of recently published book “ Process drama for second language teaching and learning-a toolkit for developing language and life skills”. A coordinator and participant of many international projects. Coordinator of two SIGs : Psychology in ELT and Drama in ELT in IATEFL Poland.
