In this practical session we will explore the world of PBL and how to effectively implement its principles in the primary classroom. We explore current and common challenges with PBL, especially in online classes, and put forward a practical framework for creating your own PBL lessons that help learners build a connection to their world and the world around them. Using examples from content and language integrated learning (CLIL) lessons, we will demonstrate effective processes and creative activity types to use when designing projects and how you can predict and overcome common challenges that arise during the process.
