For over 17 years, Loui Lord Nelson, Ph.D. has actively shaped Universal Design for Learning internationally (UDL). A former special education teacher, she is a best-selling author and supports global UDL implementation with educators, ministries, and organizations. Loui completed her postdoctoral fellowship at CAST and received their inaugural Anne Meyer Design Award in 2024. Her podcast, UDL in 15 Minutes, reaches over 120 countries.

Allison Posey is an international leader for Universal Design for Learning. She is passionate about bridging the connection between neuroscience and education. She taught science and currently teaches at Lasell University.
Allison is author of Unlearning and Engage the Brain, and earned a degree in Mind, Brain, and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is an avid hiker and loves being a mom.

Marta Rosińska, Head of the English Language Centre University of Lodz;
MA in Linguistics (University of Lodz) and Advanced Diploma in English Teaching Management (University of Cambridge), graduate of Psychology in Business, currently studying leadership; a social competencies trainer, ELT teacher, teacher trainer, teacher mentor, conference speaker and ELT coursebook author. UDL practitioner and experimenter who believes in small changes that make a huge impact in the classroom.

Vanessa Miranda is a psychologist who graduated from Florida Atlantic University, with a specialization in inquiry-based learning at the Exploratorium Museum in California. A TEDx speaker and ELTons Innovation Awards finalist, she blends social-emotional learning with STEAM. She is the author of Criacurativa, an interactive book that fosters creativity and connection during children's hospital stays.

Myriam Monterrubio is a certified English teacher trained at The Anglo-Mexican Institute and Bell College in England, with an academic background in clinical psychology. Since 1987, she has been dedicated to teacher training, delivering seminars and workshops across Latin America, Egypt, Jordan, Spain, and the United States.
She is the co-author of five successful kindergarten English series and the creator of Talkies-Based Learning (TBL), a methodology designed to improve oral language fluency and accuracy in English Language Learners (ELLs) from kindergarten through sixth grade by using symbolic information.
In addition, Mrs. Monterrubio has served as an academic consultant for several prestigious schools in Mexico, evaluating and advising on educational programs from preschool through high school.

Michelle Worgan is an educator and author based in Spain. She is passionate about young learner teaching and strives to help and support teachers to empower their students. She designs resources for, and runs a teacher development programme in inquiry-based learning for ELT. Michelle is currently joint events coordinator for the IATEFL Young Learners & Teenagers SIG.

A slightly different background to the rest of the panel. I work with authors to create course materials for Secondary school learners of English around the world. I'm particularly interested in how students' needs are changing and how the English class can help students thrive in our rapidly changing world, and breaking down barriers so that every student has the chance for success in English and life.

Claire started her ELT career in 2018, transitioning to online in 2020. During 2020, her social media journey began, sharing bite-sized English lessons on @englii_insta, amassing 660,000 global followers. In addition, her TikTok, @englii_tiktok, has over half a million followers. She is passionate about getting all learners to reach their language goals.
Claire now divides her time between engaging her learner community and collaborating with ELT brands to create educational content.

Anna Hasper is a passionate and experienced teacher, trainer and author. She has worked with pre- and in-service teachers in over 30 countries for various organisations. Her research interests are related to teacher educators’ professional learning as well as educational psychology, with an emphasis on motivation and social-emotional wellbeing.

Lindsay Clandfield is an award-winning writer, teacher, teacher trainer and international speaker in the field of English language teaching. He has written more than fifteen coursebooks for language learners and is the co-author of various methodology books for teachers. Dr Carolina Kuepper-Tetzel (CPsychol, SFHEA) is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Glasgow, an expert in applying Cognitive Psychology to education, and a science communicator. She leads the TILE Network and is part of the Learning Scientists. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Mannheim and postdocs at York University (Toronto) and Washington University in St. Louis. She’s delivered sessions on research-informed teaching worldwide. Her resources.

Karolina Kotorowicz-Jasińska is an assistant professor at an English Department at Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland, and holds a PhD degree in applied linguistics. For many years now, Karolina has been professionally involved in ELT in a variety of ways – as a teacher of English at various levels of proficiency, a teacher trainer and a DOS, maximizing the potential of both teachers-to-be as well as experienced educators, and an author of coursebooks and supplementary materials.
In her private life, Karolina is a health-oriented sports amateur, investing a lot energy into what she loves the most - family, wellness and good food.
