We have been using Global since September 2012. Geneva is a truly global city and our students come from all over the world and are mainly professionals working in Geneva-based NGOs and international corporations. It’s impossible to generalise on what our students are like, but they are global professionals who need English to communicate both professionally and privately.
Tell us about the school
Bell Switzerland, based in Geneva, is located close to the United Nations and near the head offices of many global companies. The school specialises in providing training courses in English, French, Spanish and a range of other languages for professional people working in a multinational or international context. For several years, Bell Switzerland has been the language training partner of many international organisations, banks, insurance companies as well as multinationals in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The number of students in our classes varies depending on the needs of our clients.
Why does the course work for you and your students?
We chose Global as our main general English coursebook because we could integrate the eWorkbook with our online Learning Management System (LMS). Our students (and teachers!) appreciate both the online and offline content, which is up to date and engaging. The material on the Teacher’s Resource Disc is comprehensive and can be easily integrated into a scheme of work.
