On Saturday, July 2, Macmillan Education Brazil, took part in an event organized by Cultura Inglesa Paraisópolis to close the semester. Cultura Inglesa Paraisópolis is a branch of Cultura Inglesa operating in one the biggest favelas in São Paulo. The social work serves approximately 1000 local students students in the area enabling them to learn English, expand their possibilities and equip them with valuable tools to succeed in life - all for free!

Macmillan Education Brazil has been a partner of the project since 2021 and, throughout these 3 years, we have donated a total of 1425 books. That’s why Ana Silvia Puppim, branch coordinator, invited us to attend this amazing event . We know this is still a very small contribution. However, by taking this small step towards creating better learning opportunities for everybody, we hope to continue supporting Cultura Inglesa Paraisópolis for many years to come and, thus, help to advance the futures of as many children and teens as possible. This event is part of 180 Days of Giving Back initiative and our commitment to advance learning and bring quality education to everyone.
