BUILD A SENSE OF BELONGING
Give Me Five! incorporates a variety of cooperative learning tasks and strategies which require the pupils to work together in a structured way. Cooperative learning helps develop a positive classroom environment and celebrates achievement through the “Give Me Five!” theme. This way, the pupils have a greater sense of belonging and learn to understand and value all the members of the group. Finally, cooperative tasks require the pupils to be active and more independent learners, building their self-confidence and their ability to cope with uncertainty and unpredictability.
